Series of 3 illustrations for Chase Bank socials. Other freelance projects with Chase include additional social illustrations, charts, and 70+ spot illustrations. The purpose of these illustrations was to encourage Chase customers to be smart with their money through savings tips. 2020-2021.

Objective: The objective of the social graphics project for Chase Bank was to create a series of visually appealing and informative graphics that effectively explain various financial concepts and money management principles in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner. The project aimed to address the challenge of demystifying complex financial topics and empowering Chase Bank’s audience to make informed financial decisions through compelling visual storytelling.

Approach:

  1. Content Research and Concept Development:
    • Conducted extensive research on financial literacy topics, banking terminology, and consumer behavior to identify key concepts and pain points to address in the social graphics series.
    • Brainstormed creative concepts and visual metaphors to simplify and illustrate complex financial concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management.
  2. Visual Design and Brand Alignment:
    • Designed a cohesive visual identity for the social graphics series that aligns with Chase Bank’s brand guidelines and messaging while maintaining a fresh and contemporary aesthetic.
    • Utilized a combination of typography, color theory, iconography, and illustration techniques to create visually compelling and easily digestible graphics that resonate with the target audience.
  3. Storyboarding and Information Hierarchy:
    • Developed storyboard outlines and information hierarchies for each graphic to ensure clarity and coherence in message delivery.
    • Organized content elements such as headlines, subheadings, and bullet points to guide viewers’ attention and facilitate comprehension.
  4. Interactive and Animated Elements:
    • Integrated interactive and animated elements into select social graphics to enhance engagement and convey dynamic financial concepts more effectively.
    • Leveraged multimedia features such as GIFs, videos, and interactive infographics to create immersive and memorable user experiences across social media platforms.
